With her signature red hair and daring runway looks, Kiki Willems has quickly asserted herself as a singular presence in the fashion industry.
Willems made her debut in 2013, opening for Saint Laurent’s Spring Summer show. After working closely with Hedi Slimane, she then went on to walk for the brand’s highly-praised 70’s themed show later that year, eventually becoming a muse to the creative director. The catwalks of Calvin Klein, Prada, Gucci, Givenchy, Dior, and Louis Vuitton soon followed, and Willems gracefully-charged walk became a runway signature across the world.
Through her artistic performances in front of the camera, Willems became a choice subject for legends like Steven Meisel and contemporary stars including Willy Vanderperre, Alasdair McLellan, Craig McDean, Collier Schorr, and David Sims.
Willems has covered an array of top publications including the ever-anticipated Italian Vogue September issue, along with Korean and Japanese Vogue, Document Journal, Re-Edition, and anOther Magazine.
Despite her success, modelling wasn’t always in the plan for Willems. She spent much of her younger years in the Netherlands intent on acting, taking years of classes and auditioning for shows throughout high school. While acting is on the backburner for now, those experiences helped hone her modeling style, ultimately giving Willems a creative forum to assume a character and inject a sense of theater and drama into her runway and editorial work.
Willems currently resides in New York City and is represented by DNA Model Management.
